My IS 250 AWD replaced a 2000 Arctic White Nissan Sentra... I was definately in need of a change!

I've been a loyal Nissan owner for 12 years - two Maximas and my current almost 4 year old G35 sedan. Nissan's VQ motor was hard to beat...until the IS 350 came along! The G has the performance I crave but the Lexus raises the performance bar and throws in the luxury and elegance that my Infiniti never had. OK, I'm giving up space in the back seat, trunk and headroom area I enjoyed in the G but I fit in the IS like a glove and that's all that really matters!

they gave me $45,465.00.. can't complain less my 500 ded. I actually made out on the deal because I had purchased 8 cars from the dealership and I only paid $44000 for the RL..

Actually, it's Cayenne...I messed up the name in another thread.

And the Cayenne S (450hp) is a beast, although I don't particulary care for its external looks.

Nice car but its a pain in the butt trying to make sure you don't damage it going up driveways.....and its not a refined car - great mileage for a v8 too.

I'm anxiously awaiting my black/black IS350 with Nav/Levinson package to replace a 2004 Mazda RX-8. I truly loved the RX-8 and will always miss her, but she was in the shop 4 times in a 5-month period for major issues. Hopefully the last time fixed her for good and she will give her new owner years of driving pleasure. But for me, I had to move on. In addition to rock-solid reliability, my next car needed to be fun and something special to help me get over the loss. I think the IS350 is the perfect cure.

But now the waiting is killing me. I am told there is a 90-120 day wait for one with the Levinson audio because it is a special order. I'm hoping they are just telling me that so I will be pleasantly surprised when it gets here much sooner! Anyone else order one with ML audio? If so, how long was your wait?

1992 Honda Prelude blk/blk...170k miles on it...my IS hasnt totally replaced it just yet as it still works, but just barely...i drive the 'lude to work bc the parking spaces at work are fairly small...it was fairly reliable until recently...but no other major service needed or many repairs...i must say tho it does have slightly more "pickup" than my IS 250 6MT

I replaced a 2002 IS300 with 18" Chrome Sendel Rims, Tanabe Racing Exhaust and a Injen Air Intake. Check out pic below. My New IS350 with Sport, Navi, ML, etc is 10 times nicer ride. Whay to go Lexus on a huge step in the correct direction. BMW is looking behind them now! In fact, I read an article that had a great quote: "In the fight between Lexus and BMW, Lexus is not bringing a knife to a gunfight any longer!"
