The DRL's are only feeding the bulb 50% power (if it's like the 2 gen GS). I don't think any bulbs other than blue will look white while in use as DRL.

My bad. I guess I am confused. I thought the DRL was the parking light cause that's the one that's constantly on. I just looked at it right now. The high beam bulb never turns on even if I'm on drive. It only activates when I use the high beam. My DRL must be set to OFF then.
