Thanks for the detailed photos and info. Any ebay link yet or the name of the kit you used? I may want to try this on my 250.

I found them on ebay when I bought my lights, (I bought 3 kits) they are at proxenon.com, but I just searched on ebay and I could not find them. If you go to the website Im sure you will be able to call them and place an order.

I can't tell where you put your ballast on the driver side still. Could you possibly get a further shot?

I think I know where this is (but I could be mistaken). If you are looking from the front of the car, locate the windshield washer tank spout, to the left of that is a big black box. The picture is showing the left side of that black plastic box, just further down.

For my HID install, I used the relay.

the Proxenon 4500K kits come with genuine Osram bulbs...they look wonderful! Just installed the same kit on my IS. I went ahead and used the optional relays after doing a little research.

MUZZMAN1 - I forgot to say thanks for the excellent pics, instructions, and the PROXENON recommendation - you made the install a breeze!

Where can you get the optional relays? I'm looking for a HID kit that uses a relay. Can I purchase a kit that doesn't and then customize it to use with a relay?

you can also get the xenondepot kit, it comes with the relay.
or, you can always buy a relay at Radioshack or your local automotive parts store like Kragen (for me).

Damn, proxenon wants like $450 for their HID kit. Was I at the wrong site?

First I had wanted that slim kit, till i found that the Igniter and ballasts were no intergrated... now, I am thinking the MTEC Kit.

I bought my PROXENON kit when they had them on Ebay for $270 shipped.

Try XENONDEPOT ($379) but ask if they can sell you the ballast with integrated ignitor...instead of the useless separate slim ballast and ignitor. the good thing about the XENONDEPOT kit is they plug in directly instead of having to do this...

So the Xenondepot kit comes with the relay and the right connector to just plug-n-play? Hmm... that looks like the best solution.
