Default Bring around "The loaner"

Just thought I would let you guys know about my first experience with Servco Lexus service and loaner program. I just dropped off my 250 to have a rattle checked out and have the tint fixed on the rear door quarter window. I never thought the loaner vehicle would be an RX400 Hybrid! At the most I was expecting an ES. Crazy!

It's nice that some dealers realize giving a loaner is essentially letting you test drive a car for a day.

Nice! I need to drop off my IS 250 AWD to have some rattle checked out too. Coming up on three weeks, I should probably get it done. ... So how's the RX400h treatin' 'ya?

Surprisingly, I don't like the RX. You can really tell when the vehicle switches between batery and motor. The steering is stiff. I guess I am too used to my IS. The interior seems to be a lot cheaper feeling and looking in the RX too. The coolest thing is the automatic opening and closing rear hatch. Other than that, I don't like it.

What kind of rattles did you guys have? Your posts, and the recent rumors on the throttle problem/recall, make me more skeptical on first year model.

mine was just a simple slight rattle coming from the passenger side B pillar. Right where the seatbelt comes out.

I dropped my IS350 off last Friday to have snow tires mounted, and received an IS250 AWD as a loaner. Given the supposed high demand for this model, I was really surprised to find them in the loaner pool.

Whoah. I only have a single rattle in my car and it's coming from the driver side B pillar, right where the seatbelt comes out. Let me know if they ever fix it/figure it out. I haven't turned my car in to service yet to have it checked out yet because if I play with the windows a bit and turn up my music, it doesn't bother me or it goes away after a while. But man, it's annoying. It's right next to my left ear.

Cheers,
Kermee
