Default Power Switch

What is the dynamic behind the power switch? Is it more than higher rev shifts?

ECT PWR swtich changes the electronically controlled transmission's shift pattern to a more agressive shift pattern (more responsive, holds gear longer and etc).

Default Help with my power switch...

My power switch is not functioning anymore. At first I thought just the light bulb underneath went out, but I noticed it doesn't even appear on the dash board when switched in the POWER position. So, what could be the problem? Maybe a lose connection under the switch? Fuse? I checked the fuse in the side kicker panel and didn't know which one controls the ETC power switch.

Help.......!!

take it to the dealer and have them fix it? I dont think you should be responsible for something like that on a brand new car

Could be a burnt out indicator bulb. Take it back to your Lexus Dealer as soon as you can.

I'm sure alot. It revs up alot higher and quicker, so in stop and go traffic this will be a nightmare on your MPG. I guess someone has to do a test where they drive it with it on for a few days on the same routes and compare it without.

A little but not by much. But it really epends on how inclined you are to keep the hammer to the floor and for what duration.
