I'm planning to purchase a HID kit very soon. It's seem like you guys have condensation problem with Mccallough HID. I don't know if it the kit itself or the intalling that cause the problems. I'm looking at the Mccallough 8000K HID that Stash have and really like the color of it.

MTEC HID has Ballasts (Igniters integrated). Wonder if it make it easier to install and save the condensation problem?

Wow it's freezing in CA right now. Do you have any pics of engine bay of the install?

All I know that installing the kit was a pain in the butt, because Lexus didn't leave much space to work. I had to remove the air box in the passenger side and no space on the driver side. When installing the kit make sure to have patiences and if you want to put the headlight cover back, you will need to trim the inside of the covers for the wires to be flush.

Did you install the kit yourself or is it something that is better to have done by a professional? Thanks. Got any pics?
