Wanna turn off VDIM? :)

I get this. I read somewhere that it comes off after you hit 30mph. About to home so I will test and see.

I've Dynoed my car 6 different times and never once had to do the pedal dance. Just push the button and its good to go. When you are on the dyno your front wheels are not spinning so therefore it will let the rear wheels spin all the way to the limiter. Or if you were to do a brake lock I have never had to do the pedal dance. If I want to do a donut or two then that is when you NEED to do the pedal dance.

Great News for us 6 Speed manual 2IS's =]
it works the same as the "pedal dance"
step 1. turn on the car as you normally do (while depressing the clutch)
step 2. While keeping the clutch depressed with your foot, hit the brake twice with the
second time keeping your foot on the brake.
step 3. Release the e-brake then engage it again. Then release and engage it again
(Release, engage, release, engage)
step 4. Hit the brake twice again and after the second time, keep holding the brake and
BAM! Your VDIM is off completely until you restart the car again =]

My VDIM has been permanently disabled because of something I did while changing out the spark plugs. Still haven't figured out the problem since I'm having fun without VDIM on. However, I just wanted to say there are a couple times I have gotten myself into some close calls because VDIM was disabled. Just be wary of slick roads after the first rain. Fishtailed it a couple times and unintentionally drifted around a corner doing an impressive 20mph.
