Default Opinion of Glacier Frost Mica

Hey Everyone,

New to this forum. I was wondering what everyone's opinion was of the Glacier Frost Mica. I'm torn between ordering the white color and the tungsten pearl and Glacier Frost Mica seems to be a combination of both. I haven't been able to see any at the dealers yet and the pics on the forum aren't too revealing. If anyone has anymore pics, i would appreciate it! Also, what color interior looks good with this color.

thanks!

Compared to tungsten pearl, it's definitely more flat of a color IMO.

I made the dealer show me a GS in glacier frost (exact same color on both cars) so I could visualize it. I didn't care for it but I might feel differently if I saw it on an IS.

It's a irridescent (sp?) pearly white that looks blueish in some angles. You should definately see it in person before you decide as people tend to really love it or really hate it. One thing is for certain and that is, it's different, you won't see everyone else on the road with "your car".

here's a pic of my glacier frost on a slightly cloudy day:

it puts both crystal white and tungsten pearl to shame.

That almost looks like it has a blueish hue to it. Like the lightest color of sky blue. Nice. anymore pics?

Awesome pic! Do you have any side profiles? What color is your interior?

Exactly what I wanted to say! I saw an IS 250 with glacier frost metallic at night at my dealership and let me say... WOW! It is absolutely gorgeous. At night you can notice all the angles of the car sooooo well. It looked amazing. On the curves of the car the flakes glow a light blue hue and then on other flat surfaces when looking dead on it is a nice crystal white flake. Incredible at night. I will take an IS 350 sport package in glacier frost and sterling leather thank you.

I went to the taste of lexus event yesterday and I must say the Glacier frost mica is an eye catcher, very nice in my opinion. Kinda cross between silver/white. I actually had to ask the guy since if I was going to buy an IS that would be the color for me.

so glacier frost mica is actually sort of a silver color with minor blue tint? I am so mad that you cant get the 'tan' interior with silver.
