You guys obviously haven't sat on the new IS yet.!!! That front sit is moved all the way to the front!.

Come on....rear leg room sucks!

I say is poor design.

It is obvious that Lexus is going after BMW. But....failed again!

um.... just coz' the rear leg room might not be more than the 3 series and lexus failed in going after bmw? please give me a break. if you want any decent rear leg room i say you fail by looking at the IS or the 3 series anyway.

back on topic. yes the rear leg room on the IS isn't really much better than my old is300. i posted about this in my taste of luxury review in the car chat forum. i am 5'7", i adjusted the driver seat to my likings and the got in the back and it wasn't too comfortable at all. i can only imagine what if i am over 6'

and comparing to the 3 series, i think the 3 series has a bit more rear leg room, but imho it's no where close to deserving the word "comfortable" anyway....

Well, i think lexus failed again in terms of going after bmw for the overall performance but doesn't make much sense what you said about the legroom. However, yes, i do agree that it is poor design and I think even for the compact size of the IS, there should be more legroom in the back. Even the civic has more legroom than the IS, which is considered to be similar size if not smaller.
