How old are you?

Interestingly enough you never see a question about race or religion, its always age, probably the only politically correct way to distinguish oneself given the current social climate in the US.

Male, 48, Black/cashmere IS 250 AWD
Man, when I was 16 I drove a clapped out VW Rabbit, had it for 8 years. I'm envious of you young guys with cool cars. Mine was bright orange and not cool at all.
Have fun, I am.

One Hot MaMa
This was my wifes choice and her car.
52, White,Female, Kids moved out, Heavily incomed programmer; replacing her 98 Honda Accord coupe EX V6,
Her reasons for purchase quote;
"It was a tough decision between 06 Bimmer 3xi vs the IS250AWD. Went with the IS because of the flattering sexier interior and seemingly more advanced technology and youthful feel."

yeah i thought i was too young for this car also.. I don't want to make myself look like a selfish brat.. so i guess I am getting out of college soon so it won't be too bad.. right?
oh and order the IS250 RWD... no need for AWD down here..

Male, 60 year's old, married. Have on order a 250 ("LL" luxury package and ML w/o NAV). Another couple probably in their 50s ordered the exact same car as mine the same day since we were both working with the same sales rep. My guess is that the age range here represents more the subscribers to this forum than an accurate demographic of everyone who is buying the new IS.

Older Than Most Respondents Here!
I'm 52 and can't wait to purchase IS350 in early 2006 when option package models begin arriving at Charlotte dealership. On my second ES300 which is a great car and ride, but I'm just tired of driving the ES. Kinda BORING after 2 of them. How bout something with some life and some cool, huh?
Was looking at the GS300. Nice too but after driving for a while would probably also be boring. Then I saw and drove the IS350 and man I am in!!!! Don't know if I fit Lexus' targeted demographics; don't care either. The IS has great styling and look, power with the 350, tight handling, great looking interior and fun to drive. I don't see a better sports luxury car out there for the money. (I am surprised at the number of young guys buying a $35M to $45M car, but hey great...go for it if you can handle the financing.)

I'm 34, had an is300 at 30. Anyway, I saw a Matador Red 250 on the road. I was driving my wifes E350 at the time, and guess how old where the people in the car. I say at least 65. I checked there car out and the lady gave me a nice grin and a thumbs up. I told my wife. I think they should be in our E350 and us on the IS250....heheheheeh
No matter how Lexus markets the IS. It is first known as a luxury car and the older gen will continue to relate with that.
