Whats up everyone. Glad to be here. Glad to finally own this machine. Wanted a 350 but it wouldn't be manual anyways right? I don't want to change the look to the car that much. I just want a super clean and super tight handling car. On my list to do so far is a tint job and add a sub in the trunk. I want to improve handling as much as possible. Im hurting bad to get the fog light covers on and want to swap out my current headlights for the newer oem headlights with led strip on the bottom. See you guys around.

Default Tail lights

Personally I would invest in some led lights

Hey guys, Just got my 08 a few weeks ago. I used the forum before I purchased it to get good info on everything available for the car, and what some common problems might be. I had to buy it out of state, as the ones around here were just crazy high miles, but still high priced. Anyway, I like it so far and am starting to save for all the expensive crap I made a list of. It's a bit of a culture shock, as I came from an 09 Hyundai accent hatch, base model, with crank windows. So, glad to be here, and have all the knowledge available to me.

i had the vls light keep coming on. Found out it was the battery. Guess with all the electronic stuff you need the right battery. It wasn't bad just to small. New battery and no more problems

Talking Aloha From Kapolei, HI!!

Aloha friends from the Lexus community,

My name is Kaulana and I recently bought a used 2011 IS 250 RWD. Lexus has always been a dream car of mine and I got it all on my own. Not to mention I bought a 2016 Tacoma TRD Sport as well so as you can tell most of my money is going to car payments lol I will stay a loyal Toyota/Lexus guy forever. Why change when they literally have everything you need, luxury, style, performance and the most important, longevity.

Starting at 3 since I stated 1 and 2 in my intro lol also nicknamed my car Vader,

3. Exterior color is Obsidian(Black)
4. Rolling on aftermarket staggered Inovit Prestige wheels 18x8 +35 offset in the front, and 18x9 +30 offset in the rear.
5. Meagan racing carbon fiber rear roof spoiler.
6. Interior is all black(that's why I named him Vader)
7. Anyone who's looking to get aftermarket wheels on any IS I highly suggest getting 18's or 19's. In my opinion 20's don't really look great on a sports sedan. I would get 20's for the GS's and what not. I also have the new Tein Street Advance Z coilovers which lowered my car 2 inches. Let me tell you, my ride is perfectly smooth and is driven the same as I was on stock suspension, not to mention it looks perfect with my 18's. If you have any questions im here for guidance as this took me 6 months to figure out and research on my own lol

Just bought a 2008 Lexus IS350 with 113,000 miles. Fully serviced, love it. The previous owner replace the front 2 wheels with the silver color because he couldnt find the oem graphite wheels. The rears are still the graphite color which I love but it annoys me because of the two different colors, even though its very slight.

Tints, roof and rear spoilers, Putco yellows for fogs on the way.

Now I'm trying to find 2 front graphite color wheels, cant find any.
I still use the 01 as my daily.

Coming from a 2001 lexus IS300 bought with 54,000miles, currently at 235,000m.

Hey guys, got my car a few days ago and thought I'd post.

1. Model 250
2. RWD w/6MT
3. Black
4. 18's Vertini Hennessey
5. Not a spoiler, but a trunk lip
6. Black interior
7. Navi with aftermarket bass box, got this with 54K miles on the clock, NICE!
8. NY/NJ

I've had a 2002 yellow IS300 for the past two years but I wanted to get back into something that was manual trans, and this was a good offer I couldn't refuse. CHEERS

Hello all, I've had my car since mid 2015, just now joining the forum:

1. 250 F
2. RWD
3. Obsidian Black
4. 18s F sport
5. Spoiler
6. Black Interior
7. 1st time Lexus Owner, 1st RWD car; loving the black on black!
8. PICS, PICS, PICS!!! not yet...
9. Central FL
10. not a lot surprising-ling, see below.

Love the car, my last was a 2005 BMW 325xi, love the size, ride and look of this car! I'm a fan. Just had my airbag recall taken care of so I'm all good. Purchased at 27K mi, i'm now a 60K mi.

i'm noticing a steering sticking spot problem near center steering, is this a dealer fix or can I head to an idie shop? OH, and (I've already been looking around on the forum) I'm interested in the steering damper mod too!

Hello all,

I've been lurking on here for about a week since waiting on my order. Coming from an Audi Allroad at 184k miles I decided to go the other extreme for reliability and get the MaxCare package with the Lexus. After the work I did two years ago and still having german reliability, my garage days are over, it was a blast while it lasted: https://vimeo.com/rebpdx/allroadrestoration

1. 2009 IS250 with 48k miles
2. AWD
3. Silver
4. 17s
5. No spoiler
6. Black Interior with Dark Ash Wood
7. Soon to be added: Bluetooth (BT45-TOY), Clear Bra, Better Tires, Dog Hammock (Orvis Microfiber?)
8. Thinking about doing: Flat Bottom Steering Wheel, Mesh Grill (From F model?), Hidden Ambers (If possible?), 2012+ Headlights, Roof Rack (Snowboards and Trail Bike)
9. Portland, Oregon

I'll post better pics when it stops raining, but it is pretty much stock.

Smile Looking to BUY a 2013-2015 IS 350 C

Hello, everyone! I have a Lexus now (RX 300) with 160,000 miles on it, that I am keeping. But I am on the hunt for an IS 350 C (the newer and less miles, the better). I need to have a light interior, since it's HOT here in NC- so beige or light grey. I also prefer the Nebula Gray Pearl, a beige color, or charcoal grey (no white, red, blue and prefer no black). I need a backup camera also (don't ask, lol)! Hoping to find one off lease or through a private seller, 1 owner, accident free, prefer under 25,000 miles. Please let me know if you (or someone that you know) is considering selling their "babied" IS 350 C that meets the above requirements. Thanks, and Happy Spring!
