Default My IS 350 came in today!

Was quite a surprise as I was expecting end of the month delivery. Received the call after lunch that the car was in and ready to take home. The other unexpected occurrence was the option package. I had wanted and expected LT (premium luxury plus), but instead the car came with Performance Luxury Plus. What the heck....I'll sacrifice. I sure did want those illuminated scuff plates though. So here it is...IS 350, tungsten pearl, navigation, and performance luxury plus.

Can't wait to pick it up tomorrow.

Well... We haven't discussed price yet, but I'm aiming for $500 off the $42,875 MSRP. So if the best comes to pass, $42,375. What deal did you get on yours?

Well....I got it and love it! if I have any concern at all, it is that the ride is a bit harsh with the 18's, summer tires and sports suspension. I hope that when I put all-seasons on, it will help a bit. I guess i will have to get use to it in the meantime. Like the metal much more than the wood. The interior build is excellent with every creature feature and comfort you could want. Great nav, bright and clear. Backup camera is real useful, though I didn't think it would be. Parking assist, however is a real waste of $. All and all though....

Can you post some pics? Inside and out? Why do you say PA is a waste of money? 18" is really that harsh? What were you use to driving or comparing it against? You seem to be the 1st with 350 w/ Nav & Sports pkg. Pics please.

I'll write some more about the car later, but I got a few pics up. I just took them, so the images are a little dark, and not the greatest. I'll take some more tomorrow.

Nice, I didn't realize that the side mirrors have that crease in it, that makes it look good, I like that effect and the puddle lamps I can't wait to see how they work.

Can't wait to see your daytime pics. I think the black interior is very nice looking.

Noone has said anything about how the leather smells, Lexus leather always smells awesome, my 98 SC 400 still has that Lexus leather smell.

If you watch the broadband video on Lexus.com they should you how they work. really cool.

http://www.lexususa.com/models/is/gallery_videos.html

It's under the Styling & Luxury video. This feature is also on the new GS.

These Lexus official videos really answer alot of questions that folks post here.

I tried to watch them earlier and thought they were broke... it takes close to 5 minutes to start playing - The safety one outright refuses to play at all. Windows Media Player sucks on a Mac worse than Quicktime does on a PC

I learned that puddle lights are cool
and I like how the girl says "Tachometer"

I think that is a great deal considering this is a brand new model only days old. You got good options. Did you get ML with that? I also think lifetime new tires from your dealer is a great way of saying thank you from your dealer, great incentive that all dealers should follow.
