It's a tad stiffer due to the stiffer shock dampening, but it's definitely compliant for Lexus standards.

i guess it's just something i'll have to drive first hand to figure out. problem is, won't get to for another week! aah the wait is killing me

Default Just went to the dealer...

and it seems like almost all the IS's come with 18's - as an already included option. I seem to remember seeing that somewhere else on this board. The dealer said that they didnt have 17's
(which makes sence) to offer. They are summer tires as well. I guess I'll be looking for 18" All Season tires in 15k!

Those are the best A/S tires in the market in my opinion. I have a set of those on my stock 17" IS300 wheels. Pricey but they're well worth it.

it seems like a sports suspension is either not available or already comes with all of the so cal cars, according to the build your lexus website. and, of course, the 18s come on ALL IS here. i guess problem solved.
