I thought it would be intersting to see a thread of what the colors will be on the new IS, Of course the exact colors have not been released yet in the U.S. but I would think most of them will be the same colors on the current GS, right?

Can we get some pics of what the car will look like in the colors currently available on the GS. It might give us an idea of what the IS would look like.

Are these colors on the current GS? What are the names of these colors in these pics? Is black pearl on the current GS? Where can I go to see current GS colors (on car) to compare what color might look like on new IS?

Of course the current IS colors we'd expect should approximate what's on the GS, but I hope Lexus takes a younger appeal and offers some additional, more flashy colors like an Electric Blue, some other darker Blue, or even Orange/Yellow like some BMW's, a different Green than the current interesting one would be nice.

from the colors listed on another thread, it seems that only black (202 non metallic) and possibly blue are from other Lexus's and I think others are completly new to IS at least...

Those silver/gray codes I never saw in another Toyota product ever before.

I said I was not going to get black for my next car but Black Pearl sounds so sexy!!! and it would look great with black wood or aluminum.

I want to see a crystal white one! That one up there looks silver as all to me. I have YET to see one. errrrrrr.

I think it's Glacier Frost.

So now we know there is Crystal White, Black Onyx, Glacier Frost, Matador Red, that "Cypress Pearl" green (for lack of better name), and Blue Onyx. All the crossovers from the GS. (I hope they don't cross over that Chardonnay gold color.)
Now I'm guessing there are more colors to be had. There could have been a better color selection these past few years. So I HOPE there will be 2 black colors offerred, perhaps another black with the "flint" speckles in it (like the PB SC last year). Also I hope for a new Graphite Gray. That color looks good and deserves to be carried over, just needs a bit refresh. Of course there will be Mercury Metallic because who can live without silver. And I hope and pray there will be a light silvery blue....like Breakwater Metallic on the the RX. If there is a Lexus God, please please please let there be a Breakwater Blue!!!!! If there is a Breakwater Blue, then I'm all over that car!

Oh and I really hope They have a graphite Gray or Flint Mica on the new IS...that will be SHARP! like they have flint mica on the new GS...man that car looks so HOT with black interior...

Drove through my Lexus dealers lot today. Saw a red mica GS. What a rich color. Was thinking of silver or black. But then doesn't everyone? Never saw myself in red but I'll have to rethink this.
