Au revoir 2IS :(
Hey guys, I just wanted to say thank you to this board, you have been such a tremendous resource and great community. I'm really sad to be moving on from my IS350, especially because it's still in immaculate condition (1 owner, 33,000 miles, weekend driving only, ultra clean) and I still get compliments on it. The next owner will have a gem on their hands and I'll miss the Lexus experience all around.
I've gone to the dark side for now unfortunately... I fell in love with the V-10 BMW M6 and had to have one, the E63 generation is gorgeous and also a rocketship that happens to have 500hp. Once I get this out of my system, I will likely be back to Lexus in a few years. It's been by far by the best ownership experience I could have ever imagined.
Keep being helpful to each other as you already do, I'll really miss this board and the sense of community even though I was only lurking for the last couple years.
PS - I just listed my car for sale on the Lexus Classifieds sub in case anyone is interested.

Yes it's super fast but honestly the Lexus is nicer in a few ways too. The nav software is so much older in the Lexus but still much nicer imo. Even though the M6 has a a ridiculously expensive leather upgrade and Carbon Fiber trim upgrade, the Lexus interior still matches the fit and finish of the M6. Also - the shifting in the Lexus is like butter, but driving slowly around town in the M6 is not exactly ultra-comfortable or smooth
