Who here uses their ISX50 as a beater? I will be getting a third car as soon as within the first quarter of the year, so my IS350 will move from being the garage queen to a beater. What car is your garage queen?

Hate to call it a "beater" cuz it's in such good shape, but I will call mine my DD. No "garage gueen" yet; however, I've recently been looking into either a Miata/S2000/etc as a "cheap" weekend-only fun, track car.

I got my butt chewed a few years back on this forum for referring to my is350 as my new daily beater when I bought it two years used. It's always been in the garage, but I put quite a few miles on it in two years. Now it sits in the garage with my 91 mr2 all winter and during bad weather. My recently picked up Tacoma does daily duty now.

Living near downtown I don't have a garage to call it a queen. My is350 is a Daily Dee Life Supporter than a Beater. With a drop and exhaust I get speeding tickets like hot cake (sarcasm) but I did just got a speeding ticket though.

Really? I assume there must be lots of beaters since there are many high mileage ones that can be had so cheap.

Man, I wish I had a nice track car in the garage. Sometimes I really get the itch to to floor it and swing out the rear end. My IS250 is my only car:/

It's my wife's daily after back related problems. It's good size and snow tires for her safety.

I drive an Acura MDX on snow days or my charger SRT.

I like cars with personality / character or utilitarian. Unfortunate the Lexus IS just a luxury Corolla. It works, good on gas and awd. Otherwise a yawn for me.
