Default driving past the range meter

Does anyone know if there's any extra bit of fuel beyond the range meter? What does the range meter say after 0km?

The range display doesn't change - it stays on zero once you hit it. I've gone a few miles with the display on zero; didn't care to find out the hard way exactly how much was left.

I remember reading about someone going 15 miles on 0 miles remaining; but you're asking for trouble when you do this.

It is not good for the fuel pump to run so low anyways.

Actually with todays cars as of about 2006-2007 if my memory serves me correctly from a friend who is an ASE Certified Mechanic along with a Park Place Service Tech, it was told to me that it really doesn't matter how low or high you run the gas tank, due to current filtration systems, and other advanced mechanical pieces. Running that low won't cause any more or less damager per se. Now if you talk about mechanical wear and tear, then yes, it COULD cause fuel pump to run hotter and thus possibly break down quicker, but aside from that it's a car myth that is debunked by many service engineers.

Yeah, there's a ~2 gallon reserve. When I was driving my IS350 in high school, I was too cheap to afford gas and ran it past 0 range often. I only ran out of gas once and that was going 40 miles past 0 lol.

I got my IS350 (brand new) in high school, but my high school was full of vipers, benz, bmws, porsches, and one kid who occasionally drove his father's lamborghini.
