Default CEL, Traction light, DTC P0101, P0172, P0175 2010 IS 250 AWD

So much for not having any problems with my IS.

2010, 109k miles.

Driving home from the airport Sunday night and the Check Engine & Traction lights lit up. No noticeable problems so I took it into the dealer.

But before I took it in I pulled the codes myself with my OBDII reader.

P0101: MAF circuit range/performance
P0172: System too rich Bank 1
P0175: System too rich Bank 2

I figured the MAF sensor was dirty or bad so I took it out and blew on it. Lol.

The dealer gave me a loaner...charged me $130 to diagnose the problem.

They reset the codes...drove the car 61 miles...all while transmitting live data.

Shop foreman (who usually works on my car as I go there way too often as I drive about 30k miles per year) can't get the car to throw any Pending or Fault codes. After the reset and there were no issues on the live data.

Figured I'd post this in case someone had the same problem.

All I want is keep this car until 200k miles with no major repairs. Lol

LOL, blowing on the MAF sensor won't do anything. You need to use actual MAF sensor cleaner (CRC brand is good).

Yes blowing on it won't help. Sometimes even cleaning them won't help. Are you running an aftermarket filter like k&n? If so oils from the filter can get on the heating elements and cause issues.

I installed the Lexus F-Sport intake and filter when I bought the car new.

Like I said....no Pending or Fault codes and the dealer sent it through two cycles.

I will keep this thread updated.
