Default drls question ca 714 oc

Heu guys has anyone changed their drls to leds? I tried it once bought led bulbs and the connector to give it more juice and not flicker but could not get it to stop flickering. Any help is appreciated or are there any other bulbs i can use instead that would give my hyper white kr blue light even though its only running at half out put.

i'm assuming you have an '06-'10 IS?

if so, this will fix your problem.

you still have a 194 bulb for your city lights that will be halogen and throw off the color of the drl/high LED color. you can fix this by simply removing the 194 city lights or swap those to similarly colored 194 LED bulbs.
also, if you install the decoder and a LED in your drl/high beam bulb, you will lose your high beams altogether.

what i did was replace the city lights with LEDs and simply disable the DRL function on my car by going to a dealership and asking them to disable the DRL function (some wouldn't do it but i called around till i found one that said "no problem"). but i also like to use my highbeams as i take road trips cross country every so often.
