The market seems to have the most 06, but they tend to be problematic due to first year production. But 07 vs 08, 08 is significantly higher priced, relative to 06 vs 07.

I also went from a TSX to an IS350.

I absolutely love the car, but I have noticed that I don't feel as comfortable when driving. I don't know if I just haven't found the right seat setting yet.

Do you plan on changing the wheels anyways?

Personally, I would go with either the lower km one, the colour you prefer, or the one that just feels right. You know how sometimes 2 similar cars can feel a lot different, depending on how they have been maintained.

I wouldn't let the one year difference be the ultimate deciding factor.

I have a 2006 and have no regrets. Sure I have to do the stupid pedal dance to turn off traction control, but I got a sweet deal and it has everything I want.

I know, their seats are just not designed well. But tsx are great cars, most of them I guess.. The one I had (an 04) was burning oil and had timing chain problem, plus random check engine lights popping up; so it was basically a lemon...Because of that, I am so cautious when buying used car now. Thanks for the advice.

i would go with the lower mileage one if they are both the same color. Otherwise, color takes preference for me

I was referring to the IS350 actually, I found I was more comfortable in the TSX. In the IS350, I am constantly adjusting the seat trying to get it comfortable.

And I also had an 04 that burned oil. But other than that it was a solid car and treated me well. It is really nice now not having black exhaust tips and golden oil that never needs a top up.

they're both black, i was thinking the same, but wouldn't the 08 have less chance of being a lemon as its model year is newer?

oh, i felt the exact opposite. haha. Those 04s are some oil burners for sure.

I would get the 08 if they're in the same condition since it's newer. The higher mileage wouldn't really bother me since our cars are ultra reliable.

I would pick the one with lower mileage because this is the number it counts. There is still more engine lifespan in it.

Considering the car is only 1 year model away, that 1 year is then not really significant comparing to the mileage difference in your case. If they are priced the same and maintained the same way with the same options, I would definitely pick the lower mileage one.

I see where you're coming from. But why is 2008 worth so much, an over $3000 difference versus 07. And we are talking about a 7 year old car..

Did you check if there is difference in the options? Like navigation, mark levinson system, parking assist, cooling and heated seats... etc??

I would also go for the lower mile vehicle on face value , but the question I would consider also would be how hard they ran those extra miles between the 07 and 08 would be , that's what I would look for in my decision,
21 yo girlfriend or 22 yo girlfriend ? Depends on how hard the mileage
