Default Help!!!! Need DIY on replacing a ball joint

I broke both front upper control arm ball joints. Does anyone have a DIY on replacing just the ball joint?

ohhh snap. literally. its hard to replace a ball joint, because its really hard to access the bolt itself. i jacked up my bolt/nut that is part of 1 of my ball joints, and they were wanting to replace the whole UCA. I got a buddy to just cut off the nut, rethread the bolt, and put a nut back on, sounds like you have a worse problem.
Just dont get it done at the dealership, they wanted to charge me 800+ for 1 UCA. good luck!!

^You DON'T have to remove the coils to replace the ball joints!

Did you end up finding a DIY for this? I could use it as well. Please let me know if you've come across anything. Thanks.
