I think this might work and would save you tons of money...

Thanks for all input! ill probably by a new gas cap just in case. Well i took it to a mechanic and they just did exactly what I did at pepboys except cleared the code and tighten the gas cap -.-. Waste of time.... LOL but so far the check engine light and vsc light and trc light hasn't come on.

But a black cat ran across my path today while i was driving so idk...

Will keep you guys updated

I have a 2006 is250. Mode F Sport exhaust and F sport intake. Just got the pistol and water pump replace due to code engine misfilre. Replace by lexus in May 2013. So far no issue but I started notice the Check Engine light with Vsc and trc control light on often a lot now. It would turn off for one day and show back up.
Remove the battery positive charge and it disappeared but show up the next day.

always start with the cheaper parts. go with a gas cap first if not check the valve. then canister. some shops can't find the vacuum leak. Where do you live in CA?

Thanks guys for all the input! All I did was replace maf sensor and the CEL disappeared, but just recently I received a p2757 error code. Which is the Torque Converter Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Control Circuit Performance or Stuck Off.
So do you guys think flushing transmission fluid and cleaning the solenoids/torque converter will help? Or am I still going to accumulate metal flakes regardless....

What did you end up doing? Literally have the same thing going on now about to buy a TCC Solenoid and attempt to replace but want to see what people say here first
