Is your IS RWD or AWD? Did you drive there during winter?
I'm RWD. I drove in some light snow there once and on the way back to SD, I drove through the heart of Winter Storm Rocky in the midwest. That was fun but a little sketchy at times. Car did amazing in the heavy snow though.

Update. Brought my car to the dealer. Yeah I'm lazy to do DIY.
-Change oil
-Detail and wax interior and exterior
-new battery with a 7 year Lexus warranty
-Get 2 safety recalls fixed for free.
1. Got a letter about the wiper nuts getting loose under snow conditions. Getting that fixed for free.(I'll post a picture of the letter later,
2. Then my SA said there is a 2nd recall with the trunk lever(the one you can open from inside the trunk) old lever snaps sometimes. Mine didnt snap but they replaced it anyway for free.
-For a bonus, SA replaced my wiper blades for free.
-Got a Camry loaner for 2 days.

Total cost me $430.

Before any of you flame and go "Joshohoho you paid way too much". Yeah I kinda did but my job is giving me allowance for travel and its more than enough. I'm using some of that to pay for that $430.

*SA also said my shocks and tires are good and enough to make the 2700mile trip.

So if its not techincally your money, its ok to overpay? You could save saved some of that $430 and used it for something else! Bro the dealer definitly overcharged you for an oil change and a new battery
