Default IS 250 vs IS 350 gauge cluster?

Are the IS 250 and IS 350 gauge clusters identical?

I cant say for sure, but I would imagine that they are. I dont see why one would differ from the other

With the exception of an orange tach/speedometer ring for the 250 and a red ring for the 350.

I had an 06 IS250 and now an 08 IS350. The gauge clusters seem to be the same with one exception. My 06 IS250 didn't have the green fog light indicator to show the status of fog lights (on or off).

my 08 IS250 has that feather too, I think it's matter of the year of the model

That's most likely the outer ring which all the cars have. We're talking about the inner ring.

You can see example here:

Lol.. it's orange for the initial threshold and then red when it's 100mph+.

Now I'm understanding why a 250 owner thought it was red only on 350s.

I kid!

There is a way to set it yourself too
It's the button to the left of your steering column on the panel, and it looks like this: [<O>]. Press the middle button until you see speedometer, and then you can use the buttons on either side to change the speed you want the ring to illuminate, same goes for the tachometer too.

Yes they are the same. There are a few styles depending on year, but it is basically as follows for the IS sedan (IS F and C are different as well):

06-10 A/T
06-10 M/T
11-13 A/T
11-12 M/T
