100% most likely out of the box but you need the ECU to control the lights to make them at 50% when the low beams are on just like the the cars which come with the factory with the LED/HID.
The low cost solution seems like a good work around. I would probably go the ECU route.

no Sewell only included flash turn signal relay, but i wonder the way 737NG write up with the the green wire cut off and wire that to terminal 86, would this trigger the LEDs to come on when turn the parking light ? or it is going be on 100% bright even in auto mode? I am little confusing here, would these set up just make the leds to turn on the car start or it turn on by using the parking to power up the leds?

It works when the headlights are on, otherwise if the AUTO system is determining that no lights are required, the LED will not be on. You need to provide power to the LED somehow when the rest of the lights are off in order for them to be on when the lights are off (whether that is in the AUTO position, or the OFF position). When I wired mine I supplied power from the fuel pump so that the LED's are on whenever the fuel pump is on, but there is more complex wiring involved in making that work seamlessly with the proper 50%/100% swapping. It also cannot be done as a simple "Plug 'n Play" setup like you can with relays on each light.

My contribution to this. On my car there was a blank spot where a relay can go on the far right side if the relay box, bellow the greenish relay. I cut out the original plastic base and installed my relay. There is no need to drill the relay box either, at the front bottom it is open so you can pass a few wires through. Can anybody tell me the 12v+ wire color for the drivers side headlight low? My multimeter is on the fritz and after dropping $1200 on these it'll be a while before I can replace it.

I had a dealer install the new 2012 lights that I bought from Sewell on my 2006 IS. Sewell told me they would function just like the 2012 models. They said is was simple plug and play. WRONG. The problem is I want the LEDs on 100% of the time when in "auto" mode during the day. (In other words, I want the LEDs to function as my driving lights) Right now, in auto mode during the day, the yellowish driving lights are on and the LEDs are off. (In auto mode at night, everything is fine) What's the best way to fix this? I've seen in forums to have the dealer disable the yellowish driver lights and connect the LEDs to the ignition circuit, or fuel pump. Could someone give me a detailed, step-by-step way to do this?
