Default eBay Vertex Rep Lip... Yes I said it. Fess up, who's got one?

I can't see myself paying for an authentic front lip that I will probably damage on the road at my current ride height. I'm really considering the Vertex replica front lip from ebay ID: Mac_Tuning

Who has purchased the Vertex rep and how would you rate its fitment and easy of installation? Is this is self tapping screw install or a 3M tape install? Any modifications needed for a proper fit?

I just got mine from ebay.. Who care about fitment? Fitment is ok and one corner is a little off.. So what?? IF ya want perfect then take it to body shop.. I do it myself and Im riding slam.. I broke two lips *GFX and VERTEX*.. Nothing can make it perfect unless if u wanna pay big buck to make fit perfect...

Most of the replica lips are off a bit in fitment, just put in a little extra work (or pay the body shop extra) to get rid of any gaps as much as possible. I agree with you though, i'd hate to spend big bucks on a front lip only to see it get torn up!

if you put your ride into high end shows and always in the garage then go authentic. If you put 10K+ miles a year on your ride just buy reps, some authentic are made out of fiberglass and reps are made out polyurethane which are more flexible.
I'm thinking about switching my gfx front for something else but dunno yet

Yeah. I got my vertex lip from nextmod. It fitted good but stuck out too far at the ends. Paid extra to get it right. I scraped it twice the first day I got it back. Im only on H&Rs. In the end I feel better because it still looks good and I saved a little money. Also pay a body shop to do it right. Its a Lexus not a Honda. Make sure its clean.

Thanks for the advice. Is this a 3M lip or nut and bolt job?

I bought the rep vertex fitting isnt that bad. I daily drive mine and threw the winter snow. I just didnt see me spending the 1800+shp+paint on a fiberglass that might crack.

Does anybody know if you gotta remove the OEM bottom half of the bumper (for those without lips including GFX) before installing this? I currently have Sewells GFX and looking to get me one of these 130$ cheap Ebay kits.
