i know theyre trying to rip me off .i was expecting $1k max for this done.but theyre reputable shop here in lansdale, pa.just take a look on their website(lipcollision.com).this is a total surprise comming from them.
just went to body shop here in my place to get a quote to mold my rep wald(shaved not raised quarter panel)and just got the estimate trough email charging me $3125.00!!!!!what the !!!!!36 hours of labor x $70/hour labor charge + material cost .what do you think guys??
That's way too much!!! Go get another estimate. Some shops do this so they won't have to work on your car.
I was quoted 700 from LTBMW and they are well known in this area for working on cars and molding.
3k? I wouldn't even think about accepting that offer.
And the most silly question I had in mind was, why doesn't anyone mold the bottom of the wald trunk to the OEM trunk as well? Or is that the hype look?

+1, only sffd103 and rdis250awd has there entire trunk molded, just wondering why that is as well.
