Default Covering emblem holes with vinyl.

So I didn't want to spend so much just to fill and repaint trunk after taking off the emblem holes after debadge. A friend of mine recommended using small circle vinyls of the same color of my car and covering the holes with it so that it's barely noticeable and I wouldn't have to fill it. Has anybody on here done this? If so any pics and as where I can get these tiny circle vinyls?

Interesting idea. Obviously not perfect, but i think it will work pretty well on a black car. What color is your car?

That would probably work unless you got close to it. What color is your car?

It would cost less than 200 to shave your emblems and repaint

My car is tungsten silver. Not trying to debadge the the middle emblem just the words and covering it with vInyl. I could shave it fill it and repaint but the hole wouldn't be there if I wanted to put the badges back on. Has anybody else tried covering their holes this way?

I did this. It's easy, efficient and reversible. You can't really see it unless you crouch down or if direct light hits it. Granted that my car is obsidian so it blends in well. For tungsten you can try taking a regular piece of vinyl and go over it with touch up paint to match the body color. Then get a hole punch and punch out circles from the vinyl you just painted. Apply over the holes and your good to go.

At first I thought the idea sounded stupid but it actually doesn't look bad at all
