OP in this thread is at 109k. check out his issues with his car https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ml#post6910956
Especially after reading that OP's last post...
"It has 109k miles and in September we needed to have the Driveshaft Carrier Bearing replaced, Transmission Mount replaced, and the Drivebelt Pulley replaced."
I was thinking about posting what you just did.

Nothin better than buying a CPO Lexus. I think I may have to extend my warranty. At first I was just seeing CL members having Navi issues, especially with 06 models, but it may be wise to do so regardless of how "reliable" Toyota/Lexus can be. And that goes for any car nowadays. Its better to be safe then sorry I suppose. I plan on keeping my car for a very long time since I've already invested alot of time sweat and money into it for the past 4 months I've owned it. So unless all cars start looking like this in the next couple of years I think the 2IS model will still look good for its age
I usually don't keep a vehicle that long,though.

My 2011 ISC 250 will easily do 15k a year and that's a very conservative number.

The price is took high--buy something else if that is what your budget can afford, like a Toyota or Honda. Since you don't know the true history--how it was driven, by whom, how it was maintained, how many owners.....etc.
I would try to buy something with half the miles for around 20-22K--much better in the long run.

I can pretty much agree with everyone here that its too expensive for the price. You'll be better served with something with less mileage since the car would've undergone less wear and tear. Best bet is to save your hard earned cash and hold out for a used car with lower mileage.
