I have a 2007 IS 220d (European diesel version) with halogen headlights and manual laveling with a **** from the cockpit. Is it possible to get the 2012-2013 HID+LED with the AFS and Auto-Level and get it to work? I guess I will have to buy the light control ECU separately.

Can you give some instructions on what you did? Did you just buy stock 2011 headlights and they fit in the same spot as the 2006? What mod did you have to do to make them work?

So I have read this whole thread on how to wire my 2012 Headlight conversion, I guess I will go with just the fuse tap to IG2... trying to wire it as close as 2012 factory is too confusing and not even going to try, trying to read the diagrams from Jeff are just not simple wish someone would just post pics of how to do that exact wiring now my next question is, there is a set on sale on ebay for a fair price loaded, but its the set with the auto leveling option and I just have halogen headlights, can I still use those headlights on my car? I am thinking that everything should work just fine except for the auto leveling since my car is not wired for that. If it would work just fine than I will jump on this sale now please help is needed ASAP thanks CL

Default ISF conversion

Sorry to bring up an old thread but im new here. We lost our 2007 IS350 in a flood, and just bought our new (to us) 2010 ISF. I just ordered a headlight off ebay for a killer deal, I will buy the passenger side when the right deal comes along. My question is are the steps to do this conversion different on the ISF? If so can someone break it down for me?

The conversion would be the same for the ISF as it is for the ISX50 models.

Forgive me if I missed it in this thread, but I talked to Sewell and they say the loaded plug and play headlights for my 2009 IS250 will have both the LED strip and headlights working at the same time. They will both be off until they are switched on. I was hoping to have the LED as my DRL and the headlights added at night when needed.
Did I miss this in this thread or is there a way to do it? I just don't want to re-read it all over again.
Thanks.

Correct, the AFS motor was removed to fit in the LED strips for 2011+ models.

@ThinkTwice can you tell me exactly what you had to do to make the LED strip work. I just went through hell ordering 2012 headlamps w/ led strip for my 2007 is 250 and not being able to find one person willing to play with the wire harness to make the LED strip work. I feel like it was completely pointless and a waste of money since I cant get them to work.
