Long story short: I get excessive vibration in the steering wheel pretty much whenever I am rolling. It worsens at 60 mph, 80 mph, and braking. I had 60k miles on my OEM dunlops so thinking it was my tires or wheel balance I just put Michelon Pilots A/S on today (brand new). Got on the highway and the vibration still occurs. I should mention that I also had an alignment done. Not sure what else to try. Maybe its warped rotors?

I just noticed the vibration after having a loaner vehicle when my car was in for service. I was given a fairly new IS and it was so smooth and sweet. I jumped back into my car and it felt like I was driving a truck. I should mention that the new tires and alignment helped but not 100%. Any suggestions?

And do you hear a "hum" coming from the back wheels?

no i have stock 17's on an IS250 AWD. Its almost like a thumping.

vibration while braking is usually the rotors, but not sure about while driving if you've already done the alignment/wheel balancing/new tires.

any other suggestions? i am going to have a tech drive it and see what they think. i have identified the vibration occurs during acceleration, 80 mph, and braking. not sure what else to try without wasting money.

yeah bro seems like it would def be a wheel bearing.if you had all that other stuff done.and it still happened, i had a similar problem, but my tires were already new and my car was aligned and balanced. and i still had a loud constant whoomp whoomp whooomp whoomp sound as the tires rolled faster ( yeah excuse my sound typing ha!) it was almost as if somthing could be grinding but not that rough right? like ur tires r kinda rubbing on the fenderwall and all four corners but its not, if yours is anything like this its probably ur wheelbearings. first had my fronts changed and prob still was there, so i didnt think it was the wheelbearings but then had the rears changed and the sound was GONE car got quiet like it should and i was happy. but theres really no way of knowing if the sound is from the rear or front so you gotta change all of them.

yes. im on Tein CS coils and i have them slammed all the way down, stock wheels. As far as it helping its nothing too noticeable bro but you will feel a little more of a solid feel to the steerng wheel, if anything you will only notice the change in feeling the jus for the day u put it on but after a week you will forget about it, im sure it benifits someone with rims over stock wheels since theres really not much vibration with stock wheels. but all in all i was happy wit it. easy install, cheap, its a OEM part which is important to someone like me. just knowing i have it makes me feel better though. hope this helps.
