Cabin filter change

Its really easy, i did it today..seemed to make a big difference. Mine was nasty.. Open your glove box, pop out the shelf (its hard to pull the side out), when you pop that out you will see a cover plate. Take that off and there your go, just reach in and pull it out.

Well I'm just going by the owners manual. It states that the cabin filter cannot be removed unless it's in recirculate mode. I read at least one post of an owner with a major repair bill for not following this direction.
I would not want to be the unlucky one to test this one out!

Erk....
Just looked at the DIY, mine may have already been broken cause the tray stayed in and the filter paper simply lifted up and out! Grrrrrrrr
Now i gotta go investigate!
