The backup camera itself doesn't have anything to do with the beeping. The beeping is the Park Assist feature. If your car has it, the button is located on the left hand side of the dash right under the odometer/trip button and looks like this.

The audible warning feature is an option called "Park Assist". If you have it, you'll see the circular round sensors for it on the front and back bumper of your car. You'll also see an instrument panel light with a green "P" with sonar waves when the feature is turned on.

My car, an '06 IS350, has park assist but doesn't have that button. Instead, it is controlled by the same set of switches to the left of the steering wheel (that look like this < O > ) that control AFS and the orange tach and speedo rings.

thats hilarious... but Mercedes put something out for a concept of this. I'm sure there is something on this in the car chat forum. If you Google image this you'll see there is no rear window and the sides aren't really windows. A bunch of computer screens that can act as cameras with live feed or as computers. Front seat turn around for all 4 facing like at a dinner table.
