Did you attempt to add the 508D(radar field disturbance) to your system?

Yes, I did add the 508D but didn't attach to the beeps. If you're going to use the 508D try not to put it next to other sensors, I think it triggers the motion sensor (I covered my tilt sensor with foil :-)

Damn I wish I were in Miami too! It seems daunting at first, but if you follow the diagram it's not that bad.

After pricing out a even simple factory system upgrade, I am going to at least attempt this install over the weekend. Its just a much better setup IMO, I hate dealing with all the "extras" a system like viper offers. A simple upgrade seems to be all most people will need.

Can anyone confirm that a 4 pin relay won't have an issue with this install? Looking at the connections it seems like the 5th pin is not really needed.

Did you give it a test run to see if the glass breaker works?

Well he tested with his keys, so outside of getting a bit of glass to break I think we are good

I should be finishing my install on sunday, it got too dark so I just pre wired everything so its ready for a quick install.

I will try and provide some more tips and picture for this thread.

How many have had this done for their IS? Anyone know if there is a difference between the IS and ISF factory alarm?

I am tempted to do this and im wondering the same thing. I have a 2008 ISF and im guessing it should be the same.

I am ordering the parts to do this and im going to integrate a shock sensor as well. Specifically using the DEI 504 doubleguard shock sensor.
It has 4 wires: Red (positive), black (Negative), green (warning), blue (trigger)... but i think i can connect the blue and green together to the trigger or just use the green so it gives a warning if the car is bumper/touched.
