A 25mm in front is pretty aggressive. And as for a spacer, remember it subtracts from the offset, not adds to it (so you are looking at a 20mm offset with a spacer.) A 10" in back is doable, others have done it, but you might rub. You will probably have to roll your fenders.

Default Volk wheel question

I have finally settled on a set of SF Winnings (since I can now use the iforged adaptors for the TPMS) but I have a question. On the Rays website, they list a 19x10.5 that I would like to use in the rear but I dont know if it will fit. I saw in the wheels thread that Titus350 had stuffed a 10.5 HRE in the rear but he didnt know the offset. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

im pretty sure 10.5 shouldnt be a problem but you need to go with an offset of probably around +45 or +50 i would think?

because i currently have SF winnings on my car right now 19x8... and the offset is +45 and i think i need spacers of about 15MM to make it flushed with the bumper in the rear.

You should be able to run 10.5 with the correct offset.

I appreciate the thoughts guys. Does anyone else concur with solo on the offset needing to be +45 of +50 to work?

Awhile back another member had a breakwater blue IS350 with custom CPW forged rims and lowered on Eibachs (browse thru the aftermarket wheel thread for pics). I pm'ed him for the specs and here's what he gave me

F19x8.5 +38 235/35R19
R19x10.5 +55 285/30R19

He noted that the 10.5 must require +50 if you plan to use 275 wide tire and above. At +55 with 285 tire there's minimal clearance between the tire and the fender and also between tire and the suspension. Mind you another member had 10.5 with 295 tire but I assume he may be cutting very close to rubbing when the suspension goes into full compression.

Good luck with your wheels and post pics when you're done!

Thanks neova, this is exactly what i needed. I had seen the pics of the breakwater 350 on CCWs, they are very nice. The member running 295 in the rear is Titus350. He is on HRE wheels. I will pm both to see if they are having any rubbing issues.

I will let you know if the adaptors work. We are going to look like identical twins. What size wheels and tires are you running?

They'll fit all right at the +50 offset, but it won't look any better than the stock 18" wheels do, as far as being flush goes, and probably look worse. If you want them to look more flush, go with a lower offset. If you want to keep the same size wheel/tire front & rear, I'd suggest maybe something around +35 offset.

I have 235/40/18's on an 8.5" wheel with a +40 offset and I can squeeze my pointer finger between wheel and the spindle. If you reduce that by 10mm, you're going to rub. The MINIMUM I would go on the offset with a 8.5" wheel is +45.

If you have the stock 18"s, put the rear wheel (8.5" +50 offset) on the front. It won't work as I tried it when I was trying to figure out the best offset.
