Thanks for all the interest and PM's guys. I will report back with what we find on the Airbag light next week. If you have any questions, please feel free to post them up or PM me. Thanks!

Ya, out of the 200 people that have this system only a handful are reporting issues with the airbag light. Although I understand peoples concerns, this is by no means going to be a deal breaker for this unit. I am sure there is a simple answer at the end of all this and I am confident that I will find it next week!

Airbag posting on flyaudio's site:

Airbag light is on all the time. Why? 6 Days ago Karma: 0
We have a few Lexus customers who told us that their airbag light had been on all the time ever since they installed our products. These lights are supposed to be on ONLY when the airbags are popped out.
Since these are newer cars, we figured that it's because the ECU (Electronic Control Unit), or the car computer, in these car has memory. It can remember what was in your car. When you put a new electronic product into your car, it can mess up the memory. Each FlyAudio product is like a small computer, so it happens sometimes.
To avoid that, disconnect your car battery before you start the installation. Shutting down your engine is not enough. You must disconnect your car battery. Since you probably don't know if your car is new enough to have that kind of ECU, just disconnect your car battery anyway.
What if that already happened? Please go back to your installer and ask them to refresh your ECU. That should do the trick. It's something very easy to do for these professionals, so don't buy it if they quote you some ridiculous price on that service.

The Airbag light...might it have something to do with the light on the clock panel not being there with the flyaudio unit?
from the video it doesnt look like there is a airbag on/off light on the panel or a seatbeat warning. Maybe the lack of those two things on that panel are causing the SRS light to come on? Its a missing circuit in the SRS system if that indicator is not there.
