Default What inspired you to buy an ISX50?

There are so many cars/truck we could have bought (new/preowned), but what inspired you to buy an IS?

I said it once and I'll say it again...below is what inspired me to buy an IS.

The car is capable of pulling off the tuner look as well as the luxury look, both very well. Opens a new door for the "modbug".

I came from a 98 ES300 which got totalled when someone T-boned me. I wanted to stay in the Lexus family and in 2006 the 2nd generation IS came out. It was a nice luxury car, a little more sporty, the same Lexus quality and overall a really good deal for the money!

i traded in my rangerover cause i was out of warranty. i had 2 kids since the rover and decided against getting another high end car or truck. i loved my wifes gs400 when she had it and i hated her mercedes. a m5 was out of my price range so i decided to get the is350. i love it. the 1 thing i dont like is how chipped the bumper gets from riding low. i got used to the rougher ride after a few months. cars like jonnyboy and isuxl also inspired me.

When I first looked in to the 2IS I didn't even know it existed. I still thought it was only the first gen. Not many 2ISs on the roads here.

I checked out the lexus web site thinking I couldn't afford anything on there and found the 2IS to be reasonable. Did a search and found club lexus and the rest is history...

V.I.P., jonnyboy and batmobile were the first few ones that I came across and fell in love with. Sold my impreza and picked up my IS250 a few months later.

1 last one.....................panties droppin...tires poppin!!!

if you dont see sparks flying then your too high...if you dont rub you got the wrong offset.

my first choice was a 06 M3 but the price range wasnt right enough. I didnt want to overpaid for a used car so i decided to check out Lexus. I first looked at the IS250 and test drove it, but too slow for my taste. Price range was okay. Then i checked out the GS and LS but it felt like a boat to me. So i went home and called back the dealership and told them i want the 08 IS350 in SGM on black, but they only had it in stone interior. I was fine with it so i took it. I bought this over the phone and did not even test drive the car before i choose it. Everything went smooth and Thanks to LONGO i have a nice car!! Just my purchase story i wanna share
