That sounds like an awesome project... I guess as long as you slap NOS stickers, cops will think they're just a new model of NOS. Or put Lexus decal or badge on it, then say it came with the car.
Don't put any danger, caution: explosive device, biohazard sticker and we should be ok.
I'll be sure to build one when I swap out my rims... Then build a aluminum mount like the real NOS systems and add in steel braided hoses.
I would also add a tap like a real NOS, but I'm afraid people might turn open the tap and let out the air...

Not that I know of. The codes for each sensor have to be inputted into the car's system, unlike some other cars that can just read the codes automatically as the car is rolling.
Originally only the Lexus or toyota service techs could do it with their computer (I believe the program was techstream???), and it required that the codes be written down and manually input.
But, I believe in later years Lexus/Toyota did some updates where the sensors could be "read" by a computer from a close distance, but still had to be stored in the car's computer via a person/software, not automatically by the car.
Also, I think some independent tire places like discount tire may be able to do it now with aftermarket software??

I just did mine for some reason it didn't reset? Do I need to drive it for it to reset itself? O yea I didn't put back the valve stem in the sensor could that be a problem too?
