Default volk sf winning mooncakes installed (56k no way)

Thanks to a very professional person, my tires were mounted without any glitch, and everything fits perfect.

Personally, as far as looks go I think my MRR gt1's looked better. However, I lose a ton of rotational weight with the volks. I do like the way these look as well, just think the gt1's looked better. So that being said, if you are only worried about looks and not performance I suggest mrr's.

Very nice, Troy! Is that the Mercury Silver finish? Looks fantastic on your car.

Looks great combfilter. How much weight did you take off with these compared to the stock wheels? I think they look really good on your car.

Javy - yeah mercury silver finish. I am not a fan of chrome and like the way these find a nice balance

iceman - I took about 7lbs off per wheel, but also have to deal with them being 19's instead of 18's. with the tire profiles i am .2% off stock diameter so that is not bad

genki - I haven't had a chance to really see how these tires hold, but they come highly recommended from some of the supra people. They are priced close to the toyo's and were rated better than the conti 3's. The toyo's I had before trammeled , and so far driving these they are straight as an arrow.

daill3st - thanks!

Hey those mooncakes look good on there. I don't know what you're talking about with the other wheels looking better. I say the Volk's are much better wheels. They are 2-piece forged and within a few grams of each other. They come perfectly balanced from the factory and only the tires really need to be balanced. No other manufacturer builds (or designs) them quite like they do not to mention they surpass OEM standards with the "JWL+R" stardands.

Those Sumitomo HTR Z III tires are awesome. They are the only tire I would install aside from the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 even though those Sumis have a very stiff sidewall and are so tough you thought you're installing a runflat tire.

Since they are most sought after for their quality, price and looks. I think they should be the only wheels we should address as mooncakes

*cough* umm... no, not VIP enough for some of us cant really see well with such a big tire, 245 stretch would be nice

OH YEA... nice your mooncakes

*edit*
Been thinking, comb you like to track your car, so why not get 15x10 centerline drags for track use, im sure it would tremendously improve your 1/4 times over 19" rims.
