Default New nav-hack module for $299

Hey guys while surfing other forums here in CL, I found this thread about a module that is plug and play and will allow to do all the functions of doing the nav hack, except that is pug and play you don't need to cut any wires!!!! The module is 299dls and is suppose to work on the ISx50 has anyone tried it yet?? This is the first time I heard about this module so I really don't know if it work with the IS??

Will it work for Non-ML Navigations?

$300 is way to much for that.

Maybe you missed the part about being able to play DVDs AND have the Nav continue to work. The current Nav hack cannot do this even with a VSS switch. They've done something unique and $300 is cheap for this functionality if you want to play video while driving without disrupting your navigation system.

It doesn't mean I'm buying one, but for those who want this, it's just about the perfect fix at a pretty reasonable price.

Huh, Ill wait till someone does a DIY on the install so I can see eveything about it, before I make my final opinion, but right off the bat, 300 bucks is more than I think its worth considering most of the functionality can be had for 30 cents in wires...

Damn! Something that can actually permanently override the Nav input block?

Will it still work if I already did the manual hack? Or would I have to "undo" that first?

... But yeah, even though the Nav override is VERY attractive, $300 seems like a very steep price considering how much it probably costs them to produce this. Guess I can't say for sure, though.

Yup, gotta agree...maybe $50 or so. Not worth any more.

Not for nothing, but it's kinda funny to see the folks who insisted it wasn't worth saving $2000-3000 to get an aftermarket nav (that does more) instead of the OEM one are now saying $300 is too much to spend to uncripple their OEM one...
