30,000 mile service. Worth it?
I have 32K miles on my '06 350. Should I have the 30,000 mile service done or is it a waste of a few hundred bucks? Do they do anything significant?

Whenever I take my car in for service, I take a look at the service schedule (the manufacturer's, NOT the dealer's!), and cross out anything that is an "inspection". I usually end up with a very short list of action items - change oil, change air filter, etc.
The dealer knows that I won't pay for blinker fluid changes or inspecting the gas cap, so they don't even ask anymore.
IMO, inspections are pure profit items. If my exhaust shield is hanging off the car, they should notice it when the car is on the lift. I shouldn't have to pay them to notice the obvious.

All you need done is:-
1)Oil and filter change
2)Air Filter change
3)Cabin Air filter change
4)Brake fluid change
All this can be done at a good toyota dealer for less than $150.

I plan on having all my service done there other than air filters for the engine and cabin which I can do myself.
