If I were to get a new camry, I would try my best to secure one that originated from japan. All you have to do is look at the vin number. Yes, brand new japanese made camry's still exist on the lot (maybe 1 out of 10).. not many people know this.

why? are the Camrys built in Japan better then the ones built here?
If so- why?
The cars are all built using the same parts- arent they?
Is there some kind of magic powder that goes on cars that are made in Japan but not here?
so I am curious why?

Well said. I agree to a point. I was mostly referring to the V8's in the Cadillacs and Buicks which share the same market as Lexus. Yes, the V8's in the ZO6 and the Shelby are feats all their own and are truly incredible engines, designed for their purpose. Lexus could certainly build a 500HP engine but it just wouldn't do justice in a corvette.
