2. Lexus has ALWAYS used real wood, ala Benz/BMW/Audi.
3. It may be possible, seeing you can get it on the ES and RX (looking at the same price range).

I guess a mid life model update on the new IS350 might get a wood steering wheel
(the car's not even out and I'm talking mid life update )
But I cannot see a "aluminum" wheel being offered, since the "metal" trim on the IS are most
likely painted plastic, not real metal. Putting them on a steering wheel is not practical, will def
get all scratched up with only a few months of use. They are not clear coated (polyurethane sp.)?
like the wood wheel, and a lacquered up metal will just look wierd.
On the other hand, a carbon fiber wheel with matching interior trim might look good
(the car's not even out and I'm talking mid life update )
