Damn, at first glance it doesn't look that way.
Must be really tight.

Last time I just posted pic's and didn't read the replies, sorry... I do appreciate all the positive responses. it justifies the tremendous amount of thought and effort that usually go unoticed. In addition to the VVTi, 2JZ-GTE engine, we've also installed the stronger and much bigger 4-spd automatic, E-shift tranny found in the TT Supra/Aristo. (btw, which goes down to 1st gear) Installing an aftermarket turbo and/or a manual transmission would have been the easier route, for this would've eliminated fitment problems, the complicated sequential twin turbo system and the incredible amount of re-wiring involved. Literally most every additional or modified part is a genuine Lexus/Toyota part...Did anyone notice the relocated ABS/TRAC unit and with factory hard tubing?
Although getting all this to fit, appear, function and perform as a factory car was the most difficult task, it is what makes this IS V300 so unique. Japanese refer to this as shibui

Yes, the I/C does slightly show below the bumper, but it is not lower than any added front spoiler would be. Rather than to use an easier fitting, smaller and less efficient intercooler, we chose to use a higher quality 600x302x97mm HKS "R" type core, that is properly sized for the engine. Most importantly, we had to retain the factory front air bag sensors, crash bar, AC, w/washer tank, fog lights and front bumper.

WOW! Is all I can say about that. The attention to detail is AMAZING. From making the car seem like a production car, to little things like taping off the corner hood/fenders to protect it. Very very impressive. Can't wait for more details to surface.

Bruce, awsome job brother!
How hard was the wire harness and all vacumn lines? I have been thinking about doing this. I have access to someone whom has a TT Supra for parts.

Bruce sweet car and sweet pictures! Hey post them in the gallery. I wanted to know what was the damage to your wallet just for the swap and the damage to your wallet when you were completely done? Thanks!
