Exclamation P1346 Variable valve timing sensor malfunction

I've changed out my variable timing oil control valve engine camshaft vvt solenoid and cleaned out the little oil filter screen. code didn't turn off so i reset the code to see if it was going to stay off. after about 45 minutes and a couple turning off and turning ons the engine light comes back on with code. I tested out the new part to make sure it wasn't bad. there is no more missing and hesitation. the car is running great but engine light will not turn off. Any suggestion or is there another part pertaining to this code coming up that i am forgetting?

did you ever find a solution to this problem. I know this is an older post, but i'm having the same issue. 99 RX300 Replaced the VVT and code is still coming back-tried resetting the computer and after about 4 miles it comes back.
