I have a question for the community. I no longer have my LS400, sold it 3 years ago but an acquaintance of mine has an early run IS300 with around 37000 miles. In tip top shape. It's an automatic though and he told me he'd sell it to me for 11000 US. Do you folks think that's on the high side?

Here's a few of the pics he sent me. He said he will keep it if he doesn't get 11000.

I dont mind that it's an auto (I have one)

My personal preference isn't for yellow. Pricing depends on what you're willing to pay. I'd offer 7-8K for that, if you just want a good DD.

The price seems fair considering the low miles, but you need to inspect the car from tip top shape, to knowing what exact year it is. What are your plans with the car because it looks like showroom quality to me. You can definitely pick up an IS300 for way less with low miles but not as low as 37k miles.

Always base price on KBB and not what owner thinks the car should be sold for. From there, if you still like it then go for it!
