Default new to this site & new to Lexus and put low octane smh

I don't know about cars and stupid me put lower octane in my Is300 2003 drove around now the check engine is on with a track off flashing and I check the code it says catalyt converter bank 2. Is my cata damage from low octane?

Sounds like an O2 sensor needs to be replaced

Low octane did not cause this - there is some other issue.

The lower octane fuel didn't cause the check engine light. O2 sensors replacement isn't abnormal in these cars when the miles get up there. I replaced 2 of mine when I purchased it last year. I think they were about $50 for OEM pieces from Rock Auto. I might have spent an hour replacing them.
