Still waiting on the motor but decided to do my o2 sensor idea over the weekend
I think that with the o2 sensors in the actual manifold it should help a lot. I had a turbonetics kit back in the day with the o2's in the log and never had a single problem so fingers crossed! If it dosnt work out ill simply cap them and run a spliced sensor in the down pipe like other have in the past.
I will be utilizing all 4 o2 sensors for my set up . B1S2 and B2S2 will be using 2 spark plug fouler's drilled out which will trick the ECU into thinking the system has cats. I did this on my NA car years ago which had headers and no cats, I had zero CEL's so this should be the same. It may be a bit harder tuning wise but we will see. B1S2 will be installed in the second bung of the downpipe. B2S2 will be installed in the same location as factory so Ill have to drill and install a bung in it.
I then painted it to prevent rust
heat cured
Then wrapped it up. I ran out of wrap so I still have to finish but you get the idea

Stopped by my machine shop today and they are underway on my head!
The entire thing was cleaned and looked like brand new! Its having new valves, springs, retainers, seales and buckets installed today.
They sent me home with a gift as well
Next is the block! The block will be hot tanked to get every speck of rust off freeze plugs will be replaced and then it will be painted black with por-15.The crank will be balanced and micro-polished. Cylinders will be checked and have a fresh hone.
Once I get the block and head back everything will be put together with new parts including the oil pump, water pump with housing, rebuilt VVT-I gear, and everything will be OEM Toyota every little o-ring, gasket, timing belt, tensioner, and the list goes on.
Last but not least i forgot to mention I dropped my spare auto trans off at the trans shop a couple weeks back to have it gone through. Ended up doing a complete refresh with OEM parts and installed a Toyomoto 3 rod Valve Body upgrade.

Got a whole bunch of stuff in over the last couple days
Went with the Synapse BOV I have to order the MAF kit still. I used it on my first build and it was great.
Got a ton of OEM parts today. All o-rings, seals, timing belt kit, VVTI o-ring, GTE head gasket. You name it its gonna be OEM
Also got a good deal on a 4 bolt Tial wastegate. (Its authentic I checked)
Here is the rebuilt trans. Kinda mad the guy painted the thing black but oh well. Took a week to do. It had a soft rebuild with OEM parts and a Toyomoto 3 rod kit installed. The trans was from the motor that is at the builders. Both has 53k on the clock when I pulled it a couple years ago from my old is

Saturday night I pulled and rolled the front and rear to fit my XXR 521 (BBS LM reps) I went with a 18x8.5 +35 all around and 215/15/18 for my tire choice. Sunday I bolted them up and give it a quick polish
Also I ordered some Evapo-Rust and have begun soaking every nut, bolt, cam gear you name it Im cleaning it to look like it was going on for the first time. Here is some parts that sat over night. Super happy
The VVTI gear was rebuilt after getting cleaned. I was sure to mark where it was from factory as well.
