Default Faulty OCV testing / loss of power right at 3500-4500 rpm. (solved)

I am having an issue with loss of power right at 3500-4500 rpm.

Starting to think i have a sticky OCV. What would happen if I tried to drive around with it unplugged? Could that re create the symptom or am I asking for trouble?
