Buying a 2002 Sportcross
Hey guys.. I own a GS400 and now im buying this 2002 Auto Sportcross. I love the way this car looks so unique and rare it kind of a must have if you come across it. Im taking the car tomorrow to get a look over with a good mechanic friend of mine and if everything looks okay it will have a new home. 139 on the clock and they are asking 4800 for it.

One thing I did notice is that the car has the sedan front bumper on it and not the sportcross bumper. I like the sedan bumper better and it give me more from LIP options.

If you take it into a garage, they'll tell you immediately whether it has been recently replaced. They shouldn't charge you much for this assessment.
I haven't looked into this engine bay but if you find the pump and belt, you can sometimes just see whether or not it looks new relative to other components (less grime built up on them, darker black rubber indicating younger age, absence of any fraying on the belt, etc.)
